Do we have to use one of your wedding caterers?
Yes. To ensure the highest standards of food, service and organization, we require couples to use one of our trusted professional catering partners for the wedding day.
Our caterers know Ville Carborello, its professional kitchen, facilities and event spaces, allowing everything to run smoothly from the first aperitivo to the wedding cake.
You'll still have plenty of flexibility to personalize your menu, including your favorite Italian dishes, dietary requirements and special requests.
As a general guide, wedding catering ranges from €140 to €180 per adult, depending on your chosen menu and wedding year.
Children are normally charged at half the adult price.
Our catering packages include a generous Italian aperitivo, seated wedding dinner, wedding cake, dessert buffet, drinks and professional catering service.
Your personalized proposal will clearly outline the exact price, menu options and everything included, so you can plan your wedding with confidence and no unexpected surprises.
What does the wedding catering normally include?
From the first cin cin by the pool to the final slice of wedding cake, our catering is all about delicious Italian food, generous portions, flowing drinks and keeping everyone happy throughout the celebration!
2 Hour Italian Aperitivo by the Pool
A generous buffet featuring a selection of Italian appetizers, finger food and freshly prepared specialties, accompanied by unlimited drinks for the entire two hours.
Seated Italian Wedding Dinner
Two freshly prepared and served courses, typically one first course (pasta or risotto) followed by a main course with its accompaniment. Prefer to double up on pasta? Two first courses can also be arranged. The final menu is agreed with our catering team.
Wedding Cake Included
Your wedding cake is included in the catering package, with flavors and design discussed during the planning process.
Dessert Buffet & Italian Coffee
A selection of desserts and sweet treats, followed by authentic Italian espresso and coffee service.
Free Flowing Drinks Until the Cake Cutting
Unlimited wine, beer, water and soft drinks served throughout the aperitivo and wedding dinner, right up until the cake cutting. No counting glasses here!

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone, we welcome a maximum of 50 wedding guests. This also allows us to offer a practical indoor Plan B if the Italian weather decides to surprise us! Otherwise we require to rent a tent for the extra guests, making it still possible.

How far in advance should we book?
For destination weddings, earlier is always easier, particularly if you want a specific weekend between May and September.
Many couples begin planning between 12 and 24 months ahead.
Shorter timelines are absolutely possible when suitable dates remain available.
Can you hold a wedding date for us?
That's certainly possible! We understand that choosing your wedding venue is an important decision, and you may need a little time to finalize your plans.
We're happy to offer a complimentary 5-day provisional hold on your preferred wedding date, subject to availability, giving you time to discuss the details and make your decision without pressure.
After the 5-day period, the date may be released if your booking hasn't been confirmed.
Just let us know your preferred date, and we'll be happy to check availability and arrange a hold for you!

When is the wedding fee paid?
The wedding fee is normally payable within two weeks of confirming your booking, although we are happy to discuss flexible arrangements if you have special requirements.
The wedding fee is non-refundable, as it secures your chosen date exclusively for your celebration and allows our wedding planning team to begin working with you.
From that moment, we'll start helping you bring your vision to life, coordinating the venue arrangements, recommending trusted suppliers and assisting with the details that make your wedding uniquely yours.

Is accommodation included in the wedding fee?
Accommodation and the wedding fee are priced separately to give you greater flexibility, complete transparency and the freedom to plan your wedding weekend exactly as you wish.
Accommodation costs cover your stay at our private villas, including the facilities, swimming pools and amenities. You can choose which villas to book and how many nights to stay, depending on your guest numbers and wedding plans.
The wedding fee, on the other hand, covers everything involved in hosting your special celebration, including exclusive use of the wedding areas, planning assistance, supplier coordination, event logistics, wedding day support, additional cleaning and event insurance.
Keeping these costs separate means you're only paying for the accommodation you actually need, while ensuring your wedding receives the dedicated preparation and support it deserves.
What is the accommodation payment schedule?
We keep our accommodation payment process simple and transparent, allowing you to secure your dream Italian wedding stay with confidence.
30% Deposit to Secure Your Booking
A 30% deposit is required when confirming your accommodation reservation, securing your chosen villas and dates exclusively for your group.
70% Final Balance
The remaining balance is due 60 days before your check-in date, giving you plenty of time to organize your wedding plans and travel arrangements.
Clear & Transparent Payment Terms
All payment amounts, deadlines and booking conditions will be clearly outlined in your reservation confirmation, so you know exactly what to expect.
How is catering paid?
We keep catering payments simple and flexible, giving you plenty of time to plan your wedding menu without any pressure.
30% Catering Deposit
A 30% deposit is required once your menu and catering arrangements are confirmed, usually in the months following your booking or after your wedding menu tasting.
70% Final Balance
The remaining balance is due 20 days before your arrival, based on your final confirmed guest numbers.
Flexibility Until the Final Deadline
You can adjust your guest numbers before the final confirmation deadline, helping you avoid paying for guests who can no longer attend.

Can we book only Villa Ermelinda?
Very much so! You don't need to book all three villas to celebrate your wedding at Ville Carborello.
Villa Ermelinda is our main wedding venue and can accommodate up to 18 overnight guests, making it the perfect choice for couples planning an intimate Italian wedding with their closest family and friends.
If you'd like more guests to stay nearby, you can also add Villa Nasca or Villa Adele, subject to availability, bringing the total accommodation capacity to 40 guests.
Our team will help you choose the best accommodation arrangement based on your guest numbers, preferences and budget.
Whether you book just Villa Ermelinda or all three villas, you'll enjoy the same beautiful wedding setting and dedicated planning support!

Is there a minimum number of nights we need to book?
For weddings at Ville Carborello, we normally require a minimum stay of 3 nights, giving you and your guests plenty of time to settle in, celebrate and enjoy the full Italian wedding experience.
During the low season, we can also offer a minimum stay of 2 nights, subject to availability.
However, we always recommend staying at least 3 nights. Between guest arrivals, wedding preparations, the big day and departure, a 2-night stay can feel quite rushed, leaving little time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
After all, you've travelled all the way to Italy to celebrate with your favorite people. Why not give yourselves an extra day to truly enjoy it?
Are there any music restrictions or finishing times?
We want you to enjoy every moment of your celebration, including the dancing!
In accordance with the local noise regulations applicable to our venue, outdoor amplified music is permitted until 12:30 a.m. After this time, you can continue with background music outdoors or move the party indoors, following the agreed sound arrangements.
The good news? Ville Carborello is located in a very private countryside setting, with no immediate neighbours. Over the years, we've never experienced any noise complaints during our celebrations!
Is the wedding cake included?
Yes! Your wedding cake is included in our standard wedding catering package, so there's no need to arrange it separately.
You can personalize the flavors, design and decorations to reflect your taste and wedding style. From a classic Italian wedding cake to something more creative, our catering team will help bring your ideas to life.
Can we have a family style dinner?
Certainly! If you love the idea of long Italian tables, generous sharing platters and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, a family-style dinner is a wonderful option for your wedding.
Instead of traditional plated service, delicious Italian dishes are served at the table for guests to share, creating a warm and sociable dining experience, just like a true Italian family gathering!

Our three villas are fully equipped to make you and your guests feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Each villa includes comfortable bedrooms, bed linen, bath towels, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and the essential facilities needed for a relaxing stay.
You'll also enjoy your own private swimming pool, available during the seasonal opening period, along with beautiful outdoor spaces where you can relax and spend quality time together.
Whether you're preparing breakfast, enjoying a lazy afternoon by the pool or getting ready for the wedding, we've made sure you have the comforts you need.

Can you accommodate vegetarians, vegans and allergies?
Of course! Our catering team can accommodate vegetarian, vegan and special dietary requirements, ensuring every guest enjoys a delicious Italian wedding meal.

We recommend if you don't come by car, to rent one or have always someone that can take you around.

During Your Stay
You're welcome to purchase your own wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks from nearby supermarkets and enjoy them at the villas. Whether it's a poolside Aperol Spritz, a relaxed barbecue or drinks with friends, there's no need to purchase a drinks package for your everyday stay.
On Your Wedding Day
Drinks are already included in our standard wedding catering package, with free-flowing wine, beer and soft drinks until the cake cutting. You're welcome to discuss bringing your own alcohol, although this generally won't significantly reduce the catering price, as professional service, staffing and other arrangements are still included.
For the Evening Party
You can also purchase your own drinks instead of booking our optional cocktail open bar, giving you the freedom to celebrate according to your preferences and budget.

Once Ville Carborello becomes your wedding venue, you gain access to the network we use to help you build the celebration.
Can we choose our own suppliers?
Of course! At Ville Carborello, we believe your wedding should reflect your style, your vision and your personal choices.
The only requirement is to use one of our trusted professional catering partners, offering a selection of experienced chefs and menus to ensure exceptional food, service and seamless coordination on your wedding day.
For everything else, the choice is entirely yours! You're free to bring your own photographer, wedding planner, florist, DJ, musicians or any other suppliers you prefer.
If you need a little inspiration, we're also happy to recommend our trusted local professionals, but there's absolutely no obligation to use them.
Can we visit before booking?
Yes, when the villas are available.
Because these are private holiday properties as well as wedding villas, we never enter while other guests are staying there.
If the property is occupied during your visit, we can usually show you the exterior areas and arrange a video tour instead.
Can we have a video tour?
Absolutely.
If travelling to Italy just to look at a wedding venue feels slightly excessive, we understand.
We can arrange a live video call when the property is available or provide a recorded walkthrough so you can understand the spaces before making a decision.
Do you offer a wedding tasting?
Yes. A complimentary night during low season is free for couples to come and see the villas.
For confirmed couples, we can arrange a complimentary tasting during a complimentary low season visit when the villa is available.
It is also a very good excuse to come to Italy before the wedding and feel more confident about your choices of setup and food.

Ville Carborello is in the Marche countryside near Castelraimondo, in central Italy.
The area offers the landscapes people associate with rural Italy, but with a much quieter and more local atmosphere than the country's busiest wedding destinations.

At Ville Carborello, we can accommodate up to 40 overnight guests across our three private villas, allowing your closest family and friends to stay together and enjoy the entire Italian wedding weekend.

A SIAE music licence is required for applicable music entertainment and is arranged separately. We'll guide you through the process and explain the costs in advance.
Want to keep the drinks flowing too? An optional cocktail open bar can be added to make your evening celebration even more special!
What happens if our guest numbers change?
No worries at all! We understand that guest lists can change, especially when planning a destination wedding in Italy.
You don't need to know your exact guest numbers when you book. Simply provide your best estimate and keep us updated as your guests confirm their attendance.
You can finalise your guest numbers up to 20 days before your wedding, allowing us to adjust the catering arrangements, seating layout and event preparations accordingly.
This flexibility helps you avoid committing to catering costs for guests who cancel before the final confirmation deadline.

If you need to postpone your wedding due to genuine, documented circumstances, we offer free rescheduling to another available date, even in a different season or year, without an additional rescheduling fee from Ville Carborello.

Villa Ermelinda is the heart of the wedding celebrations, Villa Nasca is just a short walk away, and Villa Adele is approximately five minutes away by car. Each villa has its own private swimming pool and facilities, giving everyone the perfect balance of togetherness, privacy and independence.

How do we confirm our wedding booking?
Confirming your wedding at Ville Carborello is simple, secure and completely transparent!
Before making any payments, you'll receive an official agreement signed by both parties, clearly outlining your wedding dates, accommodation, services, costs, payment schedules and booking conditions.
Your reservation is then secured with the 30% accommodation deposit and wedding fee, according to the agreed payment terms.
You'll have everything confirmed in writing, giving you complete clarity and peace of mind from the very beginning.
Is there a hot tub?
Villa Ermelinda has a hot tub available as an optional extra.
The current fee is €350.
It accommodates four people at a time.
Is there a professional kitchen?
Yes.
Villa Ermelinda has a professional kitchen for the catering team and for you if you would like to use it during your stay.
Use of the professional kitchen is included for the wedding day as part of the wedding setup.
For ordinary villa stays outside the wedding day, the current fee is €350.
Where can we have dinner?
Depending on the weather, guest numbers and setup, dinner can be organized in the outdoor wedding areas or in the covered and indoor spaces.
We will help you choose the layout that works best for your wedding rather than asking you to decide everything before you have even seen the property.

Friends and family staying at nearby hotels, B&Bs or other accommodation are more than welcome to join your ceremony, aperitivo, wedding dinner and celebrations.
Guests staying elsewhere can also attend additional events, such as welcome pizza parties or farewell brunches, as long as they are included in your arrangements.

Villa Ermelinda has indoor and covered spaces that allow us to create a Plan B for approximately 50 guests comfortably.
Slightly larger groups may still be possible indoors depending on the layout, while larger weddings usually require a marquee or additional covered structure.
We will discuss the rain plan with you before the wedding so nobody is trying to solve it while looking at a weather app the night before.
What are the best months for a wedding?
Late spring, summer and early autumn are naturally the most popular periods.
If you are choosing between April and May, we generally prefer May.
If you are choosing between September and October, we generally prefer September.
Of course, Italy enjoys keeping wedding planners humble, so no month comes with a weather guarantee.
How much is the music license?
For weddings in Le Marche, the SIAE music licence typically costs around €450, depending on your event details.
We'll always help you confirm the correct fee before your wedding, so there are no surprises.

Are children charged the same for catering?
No.
Children are normally charged approximately half of the adult catering price.
Exact age categories and pricing are confirmed in your catering proposal.
