Pool & Outdoor Areas

We hope you enjoy the pool, gardens and outdoor spaces during your stay.
Please use these areas with care and help us keep them clean, safe and ready for all guests.

Pool Safety

The swimming pool is available for guest use during the stay.

For safety reasons, please remember:

• Children must always be supervised by an adult near the pool.

• Please do not run around the pool area.

• Please do not dive unless you are sure it is safe to do so.

• Do not use glass around the pool area.

• Do not bring plates, bottles, glasses or breakable items close to the pool.

• Please do not throw stones, food, toys or unsuitable objects into the pool.

• Please do not use soaps, shampoos, oils or other products in the pool water.

• If you notice any issue with the pool, please contact us immediately.

Glass Around the Pool

Glass is strictly not allowed around the pool area.

Broken glass near the pool can be dangerous for guests, children and cleaning staff. It can also cause serious problems for the pool system and may require special cleaning or maintenance.

Please use plastic or non-breakable cups and plates when enjoying drinks or food outdoors. If you use any glass items outside, please make sure they are returned inside immediately after use and never left near the pool, garden or outdoor seating areas as even simply the wind might cause to break them.

If broken glass, bottles or damaged items are found near the pool area, an additional penalty fee may apply for safety, cleaning and maintenance reasons.

Sun Loungers & Outdoor Furniture

Please use the sun loungers and outdoor furniture respectfully.

During your stay and before departure, please:

• Return sun loungers and outdoor furniture to their original position.

• Do not drag furniture across the floor, terrace or gardens.

• Do not move heavy outdoor furniture without asking us first.

• Keep furniture away from the pool edge when not in use.

• Do not place wet towels or swimwear on delicate indoor furniture.

• Return any moved items to their original place before check-out.

Umbrellas & Shade Areas

If umbrellas or shade structures are available, please use them carefully.

Please close umbrellas when:

• it is windy

• you leave the villa

• they are not being used

• you check out

Wind can damage umbrellas, furniture and surrounding areas very quickly.

Garden & Green Areas

Please respect the garden, plants and surrounding countryside.

We kindly ask you not to:

• pick flowers, plants or fruit unless agreed

• throw cigarette ends in the garden

• leave rubbish outside

• damage plants, trees or irrigation systems

If you are staying with children or pets, please make sure they are supervised in the garden.

Food & Drinks Outdoors

You are welcome to enjoy food and drinks outdoors.

After eating or drinking outside, please:

• remove plates, cups and bottles

• take rubbish to the correct bins

• do not leave food outside overnight

• do not leave glasses, bottles or rubbish around the pool or garden

• tidy tables after use

Leaving food outside can attract insects, animals and create cleaning issues.

BBQ Area

If you use the BBQ, please use it responsibly.

Please make sure to:

• Keep children away from the BBQ when it is hot.

• Never leave the BBQ unattended while in use.

• Do not use the BBQ close to dry grass, plants or indoor areas.

• Make sure the BBQ is safe after use.

• Dispose of ashes only when completely cold.

• Leave the BBQ clean after using it.

Pool Towels & Bath Towels

If pool towels are provided, please use them around the pool.

Please do not use indoor bath towels for the pool, garden, cleaning, pets or outdoor surfaces.

Before check-out, please leave used towels in the bathrooms or in the area indicated by us.

Stained, damaged or missing towels may be charged if they cannot be cleaned or replaced normally.

Noise & Respect for the Area

Villa Ermelinda is located in a peaceful countryside setting.

Parties, DJs, amplified music, external sound systems or events are not allowed unless agreed with us in advance.

Weather & Wind

Weather can change quickly in the countryside.

In case of wind, rain or storm, please:

• close umbrellas

• return cushions to a covered area

• remove personal items from outdoor spaces

• close windows and doors

• avoid leaving lightweight items outside

This helps prevent damage and keeps the villa safe.

Before Check-out

Before leaving the villa, please make sure to:

• Return sun loungers and outdoor furniture to their original position.

• Do not leave glasses, bottles, plates or rubbish around the pool or garden.

• Leave the BBQ clean if used.

• Close umbrellas if used.

• Take all outdoor rubbish to the correct bins.

• Inform us of any damage or issue before departure.
